Creative Marriage Conference

This conference will be offered to the people of Grand Rapids and surrounding areas, both Single and Married, with a purpose of enhancing their marriage lives and finding creative principles to do so. We want to strengthen marriages and pattern our lives after the marriage God created and to give creative and innovative ways to enhance and create the marriage you desire.

When: February 27th – February 28th | 2015
Location: The Revolution (5301 28th St Ct. SE)
Registration: $25/per person = $50/per couple

You can register at the registration table on Sunday at The Revolution, on Secure Give, or pay cash upon arrival the day of.

Provisions: Childcare will be provided at the cost of $5/child per day (includes: Pizza, snacks, movies, games and crafts)

Dr. Soloman A. Liburd

A physician, minister, teacher, motivational speaker, and the clinic director of the Affinity Chiropractic and Rehab Center LLC in Chicago, IL. Dr. Liburd earned his degree as a chiropractic physician in 2005. In addition to running a busy practice, Dr. Liburd has lectured internationally on various topics of natural medicine, holistic health and biblical healing for over (11) eleven years. Dr Solomon is a Board Certified Life Coach and is a frequent invited motivational speaker on topics from Urban Victimization and overcoming obstacles to business and personal development.

He has served as a team doctor and trainer for the Central District Junior Olympics Track & Field Association; researcher for the International Society of Hypertension in Blacks, and sits on the Advisory Board of the Lincoln College of Technology Allied Health Program. His clinical experience ranges from treating elite athletes, children, and the walking wounded, to critically ill patients with a variety of cancers and autoimmune diseases.

Dr. Lennox Forrest

uses cognitive behavioral interventions to improve individual behaviors, enhance relationships, and engineer athletic performance.

He is a Christian psychologist, incorporating Christian principles for people seeking faith-based counsel in their lives.

Dr. Forrest is a former athlete with firsthand experience in how a positive mindset and mental conditioning enhance performance. He has participated in soccer, baseball, track and field, football and basketball, culminating in a professional tryout for the Canadian Football League.

Since beginning his sports psychology practice in Grand Rapids, he has been able to help improve performance of both professional and scholar athletes.




is the Senior Pastor of the Renaissance Church of God in Christ of Grand Rapids, MI.  He is a spiritual visionary who brings an array of theological, business, management, marketing and financial experience to Ministry.  The culmination of these abilities has earned him the reputation of being a dynamic preacher and teacher of the gospel.

Senior Pastor McMurray established Renaissance Church of God in Christ August 22, 1992, with only his wife and their 3 children. Today the Renaissance Congregation is a progressive 21st century ministry that influences believers locally and around the world through weekly worship, television and radio ministries.


is the graceful First Lady of the Renaissance Church Of God In Christ in Grand Rapids, MI. She has been side by side with her husband; Senior Pastor Dennis J. McMurray, since the Renaissance Church was established August 22, 1992. Today, the 700+ member congregation is a progressive 21st century ministry that is meeting the needs of people locally, nationally, and internationally through technology and other media outlets. Her Leadership abilities are exhibited through-out Renaissance as the Executive Director of Women’s Ministry, Ecumenical Development Liaison and Ministry Strategic Planning.
First Lady McMurray teaches the gospel at Renaissance, other churches and in Christian settings. She is a Life Coach and a Mentor. She facilitates seminars; and is a motivational speaker, in schools, workshops, conferences and corporate settings.


serves as the Founder and Senior Pastor of The Revolution in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Dr. Glenn is a husband, father, pastor, mentor, visionary and a dynamic communicator; a compassionate bridge builder, learner, and humanitarian committed to making a positive difference in the lives of people. He recognizes his responsibility to his generation and it is reflected in everything that he does.

He currently serves whole-heartedly on multiple boards across the nation including; the American Red Cross, the Legacy Ball Scholarship as the Vice-President of Life Ambassadors with CareNet International and the President of National Heritage Academy’s River City Scholars Charter Academy. His passion for community development & collaboration has been expressed through various avenues including a local father involvement initiative entitled Father’s In The Circle. He has also been awarded the LINC Community Revitalization Innovation Award and is the founder of E3: Evolve Entrepreneurial Exchange. In 2012 Pastor Glenn received an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Divinity from Kayiwa International University’s Graduate School of Theology & Technology.


Leading Lady of The Revolution, is an anointed and powerful woman of God who ministers both nationally and internationally the healing and restoring message of Jesus Christ through song and Word.

Most importantly, this Godly lady ministers to her husband, The Revolution’s Pastor/Founder Jermone T. Glenn, as she faithfully works hand-in-hand with him to bring to fruition God’s vision. She strives to emulate Queen Esther, her favorite Bible heroine.

Lady Erica is a praying woman, an avid student of the Word of God and a motivating teacher. She is committed to mentoring women, young girls, children and families to help them discover their purpose and reach their highest potential in Christ.

Consequently, she serves as the Director/Founder of Revolutionary Women, as Lead Advisor to the Children’s Ministry Coordinator and is one of the Praise and Worship Leaders.
